| About the Artist |
| Claire McAteer grew up in a small, uninspiring town in the middle
of nowhere, as a quiet, troubled girl with a big imagination. With her tendency to lose herself in the make-believe,
she often isolated herself from those around her. Using art as a form of therapy, she gradually overcame her social
and emotional problems, while continuously striving to improve her technical skills as an artist. |

She loves to compose
beautiful images that intrigue and inspire. Her work remains incredibly varied as she switches between a range of media,
moods, styles and genres, never limiting herself to just one artistic category. No longer existing on the fringes of society,
she now has a day job and an active social life. However, she still continues to turn to art as a means of cathartic release
and self expression. |
