Profile

I often struggle to explain my work. I'm trying to communicate something... trying to release something that's in my head. If I could express what that was in literal sentences... then I wouldn't need to do the work, because I would have simply been able to vocalise it.

Basically, creating art is cathartic and stops me from being a destructive person. My brain amplifies every emotion, and if I didn't have art as an outlet I would go insane. I find art to be a far more effective therapy than chemical medication.

I'd like people to find my work beautiful and inspiring. I try to work in a variety of styles and media as I don't wish to limit my artistic output by placing it within a prescribed visual category. I try to make everything aesthetically pleasing, but with a certain psychological depth. I often feel as though my work has a mind of its own. It prefers to be created instinctively, without too much interference from conscious thought.
